Andy Pagett joins Groupama Insurances as Counter Fraud Manager
Andy Pagett, has been appointed by Groupama Insurances in the senior role of Counter Fraud Manager. Andy has joined Groupama from Fortis, and took up his position on 1st September. He reports to Head of Technical Claims, Steve Caffrey.
An insurance professional with over 28 years' experience, Andy will be responsible for all aspects of Groupama's counter fraud activities. This will include developing the capabilities of the counter fraud team, enhancing existing counter fraud procedures whilst implementing new processes and maximizing the use of technology to identify fraudsters and potentially fraudulent claims. He heads up a team of 15 counter fraud specialists.
Importantly, Andy's remit will extend beyond the counter fraud team to work with Groupama's brokers and intermediaries to support their counter fraud activities. He will also represent Groupama at an industry level, supporting and contributing to various industry initiatives, groups and activities such as IFCAG and the IFB.
